The board of directors is collectively responsible for promoting the success of the company by directing and supervising the Group’s strategy. They are also responsible to shareowners for the Group’s financial and operational performance.

Aubrey Adams

Non-Executive Chairman

Aubrey Adams was appointed as a non-executive chairman with effect from February 10th 2009. He qualified as an FCA with Price Waterhouse and was Chief Executive of Savills plc from 1991 to 2008. He is currently non-executive chairman of Air Partner PLC and a non-executive director of The British Land Company PLC and Unitech Corporate Parks PLC.

Charles Phillpot

Chief Executive Officer

Charles has been the Managing Director of Adventis Group plc since 1998 and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the operations. He joined the marketing department of Savills in 1988 rising to Marketing Director. He began his career in marketing with J Walter Thompson and then Ogilvy & Mather. Before joining Savills, he was a regional Marketing Director for De Beers in the largest global market, Japan and Europe. He has extensive experience on the strategic and commercial aspects of marketing in the UK and overseas, at both client and agency level.

Peter Linnell

Finance Director, Company Secretary

Peter, a chartered accountant, joined Adventis in 2006 and is responsible for all financial and company secretarial matters. He has worked in marketing communications for more than 20 years, of which the majority was spent at Grey Global Group, where he held various operational roles overseeing advertising, media, PR and other marketing services companies, latterly as Chief Financial Officer of Grey’s EMEA and UK operations, with responsibility for operations generating revenues of over $500m. Prior to joining Adventis he was Finance Director of Lowe London and had additional financial responsibly for the Western European cluster of operations.

Allan Collins

Non-Executive Director,

Allan, a chartered accountant, is finance Director of Savills (L&P) Limited. He started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers working in the Corporate Taxation Department and the Advisory Division gaining experience of mergers and acquisitions. Prior to taking up his non-executive position Allan was part-time Finance Director of Adventis Group.

Neil Crabb

Non-Executive Director
Chairman of the remuneration committee

Neil is chairman of Sigma IP Limited, a technology commercialisation company owned by Sigma Capital Group plc, which he co-founded. He has been a director of a number of technology, media, healthcare and property businesses and was previously an investment manager covering the small cap sector.
